Julia Giordano, Psy.D. has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, PTSD, OCD, and related concerns. Dr. Giordano has received comprehensive training in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, parent management training (PMT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Dr. Giordano’s diverse skill set enables her to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
Dr. Giordano received her doctorate in School-Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Throughout her training, she has provided individual, family, and group therapy across various settings, including Scarsdale Middle School, NYU Child Study Center, Child Mind Institute, Kings County Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Giordano is a dedicated, compassionate, and warm clinician with a strong passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. Her goal as a psychologist is to create a safe and supportive environment for children, teens, and families to explore their emotions and experiences without judgement.
